WW1 British Portrait Photograph, Leicester Regiment
First World War British portrait photograph of a soldier from the Leicester Regiment. This regiment was one of the oldest in the British Army having been founded in 1688. It was made up of 19 battalions and served mostly in France and Flanders, but also in Palestine and Mesopotamia.
