Silver Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen Certificate Grouping
Silver Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen Certificate Grouping. Belonging to Gefreiten (Private) Rudolf Gäbel. 6./ Gr.Rgt. 401. This regiment was part of the 170. Infanterie-Division which fought mostly on the Eastern Front. At the date of the assault badge certificate, Rudolf would have been fighting the rapidly advancing Soviet army in Poland. He must have seen combat due to the wound badge awards and the IAB. All his documents are from 1944. Sadly I have not been able to trace Rudolf, however, I am sure if someone has more resources than me, he may pop up. He is not showing on the Bundesarchiv lists we have access to.
- Silber (Silver) Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen (Infantry Assault Badge) Certificate
- 2x Black Verwundetenabzeichen (Wound Badge) Certificates
Condition: Generally good. Though all have been folded at some point. All have also been hole punched.
