The Civil Service Faithful Service Medal (Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen für Beamte Angestellte und Arbeiter im öffentlichen Dienst) was a medal of honour that was first issued on the 30th of January 1938. It came in two grades, silver (2nd class) and gold (first class). It was created to reward civilians in the employment of the German public services for long and faithful service.
